Norman Manion, Senior Electronic Engineer, gained his technical expertise during his service with the Navy. His excellence in the design of portable handheld computing devices for data collection earned him a monetary award and Caribbean trip from his previous employer. While at Amest Mr. Manion has been responsible for the design of a microprocessor controlled halogen lamp source used on microscopes and a miniature microprocessor controlled wireless transmitter for locating objects. He is also experienced in writing assembly programs for various microcontrollers.
